Can I make a booking today to park at the Travelodge today?


It is not possible to book car parking on the day of arrival, bookings must be made 24 hours in advance.




How far ahead can I book?


It is possible to book up to 12 months ahead of your travel date. In doing so, you will pay for your parking in advance on the assumption that there is space in the selected hotel car park when you arrive.  


Should your plans change, you can cancel your booking without charge, provided you do so by midday on your day of entry specified on the Booking form.




How close to my departure date can I make my car parking booking?


All of our car parks can be booked up to 24 hours before your arrival time at the car park, subject to availability.




Does pre-payment guarantee my parking space?


Pre-payment for your parking frees you from the hassle of paying for your parking on arrival at the hotel. Pre-payment does not guarantee your space, but each car park has been carefully assessed to ensure we can meet demand for pre-paid parking and it is very unlikely space will not be available for your vehicle when you arrive.




Can I cancel or amend my car parking booking if my travel plans change?


You can cancel or amend your car parking booking provided you do so by midday on your date of entry into the car park specified on the Booking form. You can cancel or make changes to your parking booking by visiting the website https://travelodgeparking.apcoa.co.uk and clicking the link to ‘Manage my parking booking’.


There is also no charge for amending your booking if you are changing the dates.  If you are amending the booking for a different hotel car park, or you are amending your booking to stay for a longer period, then there may well be additional charges. These will be highlighted during the amendment process.


If you are amending your booking to stay for a shorter period, you may be entitled to a refund. This will be confirmed during the amendment process.




How are parking charges calculated?  


Your parking session can be booked at any time on your day of arrival and can expire at the time that suits you best on your day of exit.  Please choose the Car Park entry & exit time that is closest to your expected arrival & exit time, ensuring the duration of your expected parking session is covered. Please be aware that Car Park charges will vary depending on location.




How often do car parking prices change?


Our car parking prices are constantly monitored to ensure that we offer you the best possible price. Hence, our prices are subject to change, so please bear in mind that quotes are valid at the time of booking only.




Why can't I get a quote for the car park I'm looking for?


The most likely explanation is that the pre-book space availability for this car park has been filled.  In most circumstances, we will still be able to accommodate you if you just turn up. Please note that if you can’t pre-book the car park for the dates you would like and you just turn up at the Car Park, you will be required to pay using the pay & display machine on site.  If you are unsure, please telephone 0844 332 1236.




What are the minimum stay periods for your car parks?


Our car parks do not have any minimum stay requirements for customers that turn up; payment for various durations will be displayed in the car park.




How do I book disabled parking?


There are disabled bays in all car parks which are clearly marked. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings specifically for disabled spaces.




How do I know my booking has been placed?


When you make your booking online at https://travelodgeparking.apcoa.co.uk you will see a confirmation web page with a booking reference number when you have completed your booking. You will also receive a Booking confirmation email with your Booking details. You should print this email and bring it with you to the Travelodge car park in the event of any query.


If you make your booking by telephone, you will also be sent an email confirming your booking after that call. If you do not provide an email address, we will request a postal address and send you a Booking confirmation letter to complete your booking. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please email us at travelodge@apcoa.com.  We will check that your booking has been made and confirm this to you.




What do I do when I get to the car park?


Please refer to the individual instructions provided in your Booking confirmation email or letter. Parking instructions for the car park you have pre-booked are also available on the website https://travelodgeparking.apcoa.co.uk, follow the “Manage My Parking Booking” link. Park in a parking bay, and ensure that you lock your vehicle. Parking operates on a first come, first served basis.




Are there any restrictions on the kind of vehicle I can bring?


We only accept Bookings for cars and light vans. You are not entitled to a refund if your Vehicle exceeds the size limits we impose. Please contact Customer Services on 0844 332 1236 or email travelodge@apcoa.com to ensure we can accommodate the vehicle and to confirm any additional charges.




What happens if my car gets damaged while parked in the car park?


In the unlikely event of this happening, you must go directly to the Travelodge reception and report the incident. You will need to provide them with your registration details, name and contact details.  If you believe that a criminal offence has taken place, you should also contact the police and your insurance company to report the incident to them as well.


I’ve been given a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) but I pre-paid for my parking, what should I do?

In the unlikely event of this happening, you must call the APCOA Customer Service Centre on 0844 332 1236.  You will need to confirm the PCN number and your vehicle registration in addition to the Booking Reference Number you received on your booking confirmation form.  If you have been given a PCN and we can validate your   parking pre-payment, we will cancel your Parking Charge Notice.



I’ve lost my Booking confirmation number, how can I get it again?


If you have lost your booking confirmation number, you will be able to find it via the website https://travelodgeparking.apcoa.co.uk and the “Manage My Parking Booking” link in the top right hand corner of the page.  You can also call the APCOA Customer Service Centre on 0844 332 1236 and they will be able to confirm your booking and booking reference number.


What do I do if I arrive at the car park and there are no parking spaces available?

In the unlikely event that you arrive at the car park having pre-booked a space and there are no available spaces for you to park, please visit the Travelodge Reception desk in order to find the nearest available place to park.  You will also be entitled to a full refund via the APCOA Customer Call Centre. You can contact APCOA on 0844 332 1236 or via email on travelodge@apcoa.com.   The APCOA Customer Call Centre is open between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays).


How can I get a receipt for my booking?

Your Booking Confirmation email is also your VAT receipt and contains a full VAT breakdown.  If you have lost your booking confirmation email then please go to 'Manage my parking booking' at https://travelodgeparking.apcoa.co.uk. There, you can review your booking and request your booking confirmation to be resent to you.


I didn’t get a booking confirmation email or form, what should I do?

Without a booking confirmation email or form, your booking is not valid.  Please call the APCOA Customer Service Centre on 0844 332 1236 to check we have a record of your booking.  If we confirm we haven’t received payment and you do not have a booking, you will need to either purchase your parking online (if more than 24 hours in advance of arrival) or pay for a ticket on arrival at the Car Park from the nearest pay & display machine.


If we can confirm you did prepay for parking, then we can provide you with the booking reference number over the telephone.  You can also visit https://travelodgeparking.apcoa.co.uk , clicking the “Manage My Parking Booking” link in the top right hand corner of the page to find your parking details and booking reference.


Can I make a booking on behalf of someone else?

Yes, you can make a booking on behalf of someone else, you must provide the correct registration number for the vehicle that is parking in the hotel car park you select.
